The Board of Directors of Kejuruteraan Asastera Berhad ("KAB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders' approval for the proposed authority for the Company to purchase its own shares on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad of up to ten percent (10%) of the issued share capital of the Company at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") to be convened.

A Statement to Shareholders setting out the details of the above proposed authority together with the Notice of EGM pertaining thereto will be dispatched to the shareholders of KAB in due course.
