We refer to the announcements dated 19 January 2022, 29 March 2022, 20 June 2022, 30 June 2022 and 29 July 2022 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein. The Board of KAB wishes to announce that the Company and Mercury Securities have mutually agreed to terminate Mercury Securities’ services as the Principal Adviser of the Company in respect of the Proposed Acquisition with effect from 30 August 2022 (“Termination”). Following the Termination, Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad has been appointed as the new Principal Adviser of the Company in respect of the Proposed Acquisition in place of Mercury Securities. This announcement is dated 30 August 2022. |
