(For consistency, the abbreviations used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the announcement dated 10 October 2019 in relation to the Private Placement, where applicable, unless stated otherwise or defined herein.)

Reference is made to the earlier announcements in relation to the Private Placement dated 10 October 2019, 17 October 2019, 25 November 2019, 18 March 2020, 27 March 2020, 2 October 2020, 13 October 2020, 5 November 2020 and 2 February 2021.

Earlier, the Company has issued a total of 30,596,700 Placement Shares via the following tranches:-

(i)         16,230,000 Placement Shares, being the first tranche of Placement Shares for the Private Placement, was listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities on 2 December 2019;

(ii)         6,033,600 Placement Shares, being the second tranche of Placement Shares for the Private Placement, was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (Company has been transferred from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 28 August 2020) on 16 November 2020; and

(iii)        8,333,100 Placement Shares, being the third and final tranche of Placement Shares for the Private Placement, was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 10 February 2021.

Further to the above, Mercury Securities wishes to announce, on behalf of the Board, that the Company has decided not to place out the remaining Placement Shares of the Private Placement. As such, the Private Placement is deemed completed.
