The Board of Directors of KAB is pleased to announce that KAB had on 6 April 2021 accepted two Letters of Appointment ("LOA") with the total contracts sum of RM17.90 million from China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd [Company No. 201301046007 (1075831-X)]. The Company shall act as the nominated subcontractor for carrying out and completion of electrical installations on main building and infrastructure works for three blocks of Office, Condominium Suite and Hotel located at Lot 20034, Seksyen 67, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.
The date of commencement of the contracts are on 6 April 2021, i.e. upon the acceptance of the LOA from China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. The delivery of KAB's services is expected to be completed by 31 October 2023.
The LOA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of KAB for the duration of the contracts.
There are no foreseeable significant risks other than normal business and operational risk associated with the LOA.
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them, have any interest, direct or indirect, in the LOA.
